Well, back to the blog after the summer! And it's been a busy time in Edinburgh since I came back the week before last. There's uproar in many parts of the city - and it's not because of the Festival, but because of the massive programme of school closures and cutbacks in services announced by the new LibDem/SNP administration on Edinburgh City Council. I've been supporting a number of community campaigns against these closures and cuts over the last couple of weeks, and I'll be reporting more on this blog over the next few days.
